Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

To make sure my students are prepared for the learning ahead of them, I give each one a set of color-coded folders to ensure that they will be organized and on-task during instruction. They also need colored pencils, pre-sharpened pencils, and colorful paper to begin the year.

All of these items will help to keep the students organized and productive at the beginning of the school year.

Purple is the folder we use for all unfinished work. Black is for homework. With each of the different colors, students will always know where their papers are. When things are organized, learning happens much more quickly and efficiently.

Pre-sharpened pencils will help them with their work as will the colored pencils. They are always running through both throughout the year, and having the materials at their fingertips is such a great thing for them! The colorful paper is also a great help when sending home materials to start the year. Students will be well prepared for this year with all of these requested materials!
