I look forward to working with my new 2nd graders next year. I have met them and they are enthusiastic learners. They work well as a team and are a caring bunch of students. The students are strengthening their foundation they have learned from first grade. Our classroom is an inclusive classroom and includes all subjects. We have endured a lot as a community since Hurricane Harvey and that has given them perseverance. We are looking forward to a great year!
My Project
We are looking for help in purchasing school supplies for our classroom. I have chosen School Specialty and Staples to help fulfill our needs. Our community is still recovering from hurricane Harvey and we would like to help our families focus on rebuilding their damaged homes and businesses. We do not want parents to worry about supplies for their children. The supplies like crayons, markers, and glue, will be used to further the students learning. It will help them record their ideas and strategies to build upon their learning. I hope to have the classroom stocked with supplies so I can begin teaching right away. They are so eager to learn!
