Help me give my students an opportunity to expand their learning experience by adding these items to my classroom. Students will be able to understand the different technologies used in music with the guitar pedals and record player.
My students are special because they show an expanded interest in some of the topics that are unique to my courses. Within my anthropology class, my students continue to inquire about the role of music in culture and how it impacts our lives, beyond the level that I have witnessed in the previous few years.
The items I've included in this program will allow my students to engage in more "hands-on" type of learning activities that are not probable without these items.
My students are amazing kids and deserve to heighten their learning experience with more funds finding their way into the classroom.
My Project
This project will help bring more engaging activities into my class, in turn giving students some unique learning experiences that were previously not imaginable. The pandemic has created a dynamic that has made student engagement difficult. Because I teach a rock and roll history class, I've tried to find interesting ways to bring in the history of that topic. The record player and guitar distortion pedals will allow me to give more of a hands-on approach to conveying certain topics, such as the culture of listening to records and the manipulation of sounds in music.
Teachers have been trying to heighten engagement within our classes and we need as many resources as possible to achieve this goal.
When unique learning activities are available, students break out of their "Covid-Era engagement" and pique their interest. Students need these types of experiences to increase the learning efficacy of our school system.
