My Students

My classroom is full of energetic 5, 6 and 7-year-olds. They come to school eager to learn and are full of life, despite what hardships they may be facing home. It is a pleasure to watch them grow and soak everything up! We are a Title I school in a rural area in the foothills of Western North Carolina, where 100% of my school's students receive free or reduced lunch. Some students are even considered homeless. I want all students to have the same opprotunities.

Our classroom is a place where students are cared for, encouraged and a love of learning is developed.

My students love to move, sing, read and feel loved! Through your donation, together we can help them be prepared and ready to learn!

My Project

I want to make sure that my students start this school year with the basic supplies needed such as scissors, glue, pencils, construction paper, and expo markers. We use these supplies daily in our learning through writing, art, math and much more. Also, we will be able to help cut down on colds and germs with the Clorox wipes and Kleenex. The cleaning supplies will help make sure that my students are at school everyday!

My students come to school eager and are excited to learn - these supplies will help them start the year off right!

This project will truly make a difference in our classroom! We will be able to focus more on our academic achievement and less on having school supplies. We will be able to grow to our fullest academic potential because we will have all the things that we need for a successful school year.
