We are a Title I, at risk school with 100% free breakfast and lunch. In addition to the free breakfast and lunch, we also provide a snack of fresh fruits and vegetables and dinner for over 300 of our students. For many of our students this is the only substantial food that they will receive.
Many of our students are English Language Learners and do not speak English at home.
Our students are very bright, but don't have the resources to always do all that they are capable of in the classroom.
My Project
Many of my students do not have the necessary supplies to have a successful science experience. I am asking for some of the essentials for creating project displays like pencils, crayons, glue, tape, and paper. My students will use these materials for daily work as well as fun and engaging STEAM based projects.
This project will make a huge difference in the lives of my students because they will have the materials they need to have a successful year exploring the amazing aspects of science.
