Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I'm moving up to 5th grade next year from kindergarten. I've been working in kindergarten and first grade for 17 years and am really looking forward to working with older students. Littles are wonderful and I've really enjoyed my time with them... and cannot wait to get started with some older students - some of whom I had when they were small!
Leveling up means rebuilding some basic classroom supplies and that is what this grant is all about.
Labels, whiteboards, erasers, and more will help me start the year off right with my new class. I also added in some kick bands because movement is key to focusing and while 5th graders are learning how to work for longer periods of time, they still need to wiggle!
