Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from a variety of experiences. These culturally diverse students are conscientious, respectful students who know what their responsibilities are and try their hardest to do their best. Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with many of our students receiving free breakfast and lunch. As a teacher in a low-income, high poverty school district, I see how my students are confronted with many challenges and obstacles equally in and out of my classroom. For many of my students, they lack the experiences as well as materials they may need to succeed.
Help me give my students the supplies they need to participate in distance learning to help them succeed.
My Project
These supplies will help my students continue to learn from home in this distant learning environment. Many have already used up all the supplies they had or that I have given and they need more. With these supplies, I can incorporate an art lesson and make the learning more exciting so that students can have some fun and use creativity while they learn! The learning supplies will help with many lessons and many hours of learning. My students attend each day eager to learn, I want to make them happy with the much-needed supplies so that they can continue to enjoy school.
