Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 5th graders are full of energy, ideas, and potential--they are ready to shine bright this school year! But to truly sparkle, they need the right tools in their hands. Our school is a Title I school in a low-income community, and many of my students come to class without basic supplies.

They are a wonderfully diverse group, bringing a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and experiences into the classroom--and they deserve to feel confident and prepared each day.

With your help, we can fill our classroom with the supplies we need: pencils, pencil sharpeners, glue sticks, pencil pouches, cap erasers, and more. These items may seem small, but they make a big difference in helping my students stay focused, organized, and ready to learn.

Your support means less stress for families and more success for students. It means giving every child--regardless of their circumstances--a chance to shine bright in 5th grade and beyond.
