My students need an Ipod Touch to listen to stories and answer comprehension questions, while engaging in new technology. They also need the daily necessities, school supplies, which we often run very low.

My Students

I teach at a school where 100% of our focus is on our students. We have the best kids around. They work so hard to be better citizens and are learning what it takes to be leaders in today’s world!

Many of our students are underprivileged and love coming to school to gain experiences they otherwise may not.

Our classroom is centered around creating a positive culture and fun learning environment. My students are special because they are the hardest working kids I've ever taught!

My Project

My students need an iPod Touch for our classroom. Being able to bring in technology will help them learn to use tools used in today's society. With the iPod Touch students will be able to launch investigations, listen to stories and answer comprehension questions, engage in research based instruction, and take pictures that are pertinent for learning.

Many of my students run out of school supplies on a daily basis.

Many are able to send more but a lot are not. For those students, I would like to have supplies that they could go and get without their friends knowing that they hadn't sent what was necessary. This will help my students be more confident and teach them the importance of taking care of school materials. It will also build up trust and help them to be able to focus on their learning.
