I teach in a classroom full of fun and excitement. In years past we were told to get rid of all of our "play" centers. Research is now proving that our kids are lacking the necessary vocabulary and socialization skills necessary to be successful readers. I would love to surprise my sweet kiddos with a play kitchen! They work so hard and have made so much academic and social growth this year. This kitchen, pots and pans, and flexible seating optiondish chair would give them something to be proud of and take great pride in, while also building our classroom community. I've never taught a group of kids more deserving of adding a little more fun and real world experiences into our classroom.
