Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Imagine walking into a fourth-grade classroom, and the only thing you have is the clothes on your back! How would you feel? Few students come in with supplies. Most depend on the teacher to supply them, and that is not always possible.

Now imagine walking into a classroom and there is a pencil box full of supplies for every student, pencils, colored pencils, crayons, sharpeners, and erasers; finally, smiles of relief instantly appear!

Students will be able to succeed with confidence. They will be able to use the white boards on various projects and assignments including vocabulary and spelling, as well as developing mathematics skills, such as multiplication and long division.

We will use them to develop elaborate sentences as we build our skills in creative writing. We will use the whiteboards to write word families and build stronger readers. Through your generous donations, you are investing in our future and theirs!
