As a science teacher, I am blessed to be able to share with you a little about my kids. My students are full of energy and learn best with interactive, hands-on activities! They arrive to my class each day looking forward to the fun "outside of the box" lessons that have hooked them into a love of science and discovery. My students come from all cultures and backgrounds, as Midland is a true melting pot! Students can struggle with concepts and utilizing basic materials works to better help their comprehension.
Items used in the classroom to help bridge content information and maximum brain processing are a never-ending need.
Pencils disappear quicker than a pint of icecream on a rough day, anchor chart paper gets used up like a roll of TP, and markers dry up faster than the “quicker picker upper”.
I can confidently say that my students believe that anchor chart paper is a gift that keeps on giving...who wouldn’t love to have a lifeline of information whenever you needed it? We would be blessed and thankful to have the opportunity to utilize these supplies in our mission to learn.
My Project
The first step in student learning is to teach content material. Pencils and Paper and Charts, OH MY! Pencils for writing, computer paper for activities or printing, anchor chart paper for, you know it, anchor charts, and more is utilized to deliver and complete daily agendas.
Supplies are used daily to help bridge the information being given in order to enrich student education.
Being able to have the classroom supplies needed to support my students and our lessons would be a contribution in helping get our classroom ready to rock our agenda and be one step closer to success and achieving our learning goals!
