Virtual reality and gaming systems are a popular theme of the current generations. The students will be much more eager to learn and engaged with their lessons when learning with VR! Imagine learning about space and then getting the opportunity experience life as an astronaut as if you are really in space above Earth...complete with a view! An increase in student participation and "want to" equals more success in the classroom. When students are actively learning, they are better able to process and retain the information than if they were not engaged. Using various teaching methods and manipulatives, such as virtual reality, will help ensure that my students are successful and have a WANT to learn.
