Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Teaching second grade students is one of the most rewarding teaching experiences I've had. My seven and eight-year-old students are at a fantastic stage in their lives where they come to school each day excited to learn and ready for a new adventure.

Sometimes learning can be a little difficult for some of my students, but I love the optimism my students bring to the classroom everyday.

They are eager to help one another and are not afraid to make mistakes!

My Project

We are nearing the middle of our school year and many of our classroom supplies have been used so much, they are beginning to wear out or have simply gone missing. Although my students don’t mind sharing supplies with their classmates, they would be ecstatic to have a fresh set of supplies come January!

Help me surprise my students this year with a new set of crayons and watercolors so they can continue to express their creativity through art!

My students are also in need of storage totes to help them continue to practice their organizational skills throughout the school year.
