The students in Kindergarten are funny, energetic, and ready to learn! They make learning fun for the teachers and for each other. They are a big group of young learners who like to dance, sing, and act out stories. Anything that allows our kindergarten students to express their creativity is sure to bring squeals of delight from the kids.
Our students are natural learners and have lots of questions about the things we are learning.
Right now we are learning to use our letters and how to sound out words. The students are excited to write in their journals and use inventive spelling to express their thoughts. We are also learning how to be good citizens and how to be a good friend within our classroom community. The students have a lot of ideas about how to be kind and caring.
We are a Title I School which serves the local community with distinction. Our students may face some challenges but it does not stop us from anticipating an awesome year. We are requesting a few classroom supplies and resources so that our students are able to fully be impacted by our classroom.
My Project
The materials that we are asking for will go towards the daily running of our classroom. As teachers, we have supplied some of these items but we haven't had many school supplies to come from home. Because of this, we are being made to stretch our resources throughout class.
We are requesting items like dry erase markers because they can be very expensive and are used daily in our literacy and math classes.
The constant use of these items require for them to be replaced frequently. It is our hope that we receive these items and others listed to have a smooth school year.
