Supplies for Washington DC Trip

My Project

For the first time, we are taking our Montessori 8th-grade students on a four-day trip to Washington, D.C., in May 2023. We will hope to continue taking our 8th graders on a trip each year.

The travel experience and learning opportunities outside of the classroom in another city are priceless.

However, a trip like this is not cheap and supplies to manage students are important. You can help make this trip efficient by helping supply the necessary materials to use on this and future trips to communicate quickly and to keep kids safe, and fed. Walkie-talkies for the chaperones to communicate quickly if changes arise and track students, chargers to collect and charge student phones overnight to limit distractions, and food for those in between pangs of hunger or missed meals.
