Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from all different socioeconomic backgrounds. I have students who are classified as upper class, I have students who are classified as lower class, and I even have a homeless shelter population.
My school is very diverse and unique.
This brings different challenges, but it makes us who we are. When we are learning, we have to remember that everyone has different challenges in their life and we need to accept everyone for who they are. We get many different perspectives on the same topic, which makes it so fun to learn.
My Project
Towards the end of the school year, we have seem to ran out of supplies that keep our classroom running. We are in need of these items to keep us going until the end of the year. The plugins will be used to keep our space smelling fresh and clean.
The printer ink allows me to print things in color for our classroom such as example cards, bulletin board items, and more.
I print things quite often, and it is great to have these supplies at my fingertips. Students often come to the gym when they are in need of lotion for their skin. I have ran out and I am in need for more. The sticky note paper allows us to reflect, brainstorm, and write directions for different activities. All of these supplies will be used before the end of the year and are critical for keeping my classroom afloat.
