Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As spring approaches, crayons are a lot smaller, pencils with erasers are hard to come by, and markers have dried out. My students and I would love a refresh of materials to finish our year strong and perhaps kick off next school year strong as well!

My students who are learning English engage in project based learning to make meaning of the world around them!

We use rich texts to construct thoughtful writing responses and often these responses go with a craft to complete. At this point in the year, we have used many of our materials and need a bit of a refresh!

Additionally, as I get ready to go on a maternity leave, I want to make sure my students are able to have the tools and materials they need for success in my absence!
