My Students

Teaching is not a job or a career for me. Teaching is my passion. My students teach me new things on a daily basis. Each and every student deserves the very best and with your help I can give them so much more to assist them in achieving their very best.

My students are your average 5th graders.

They are mostly from middle class families. They range from a variety of ability groups.

My students are extremely grateful for everything that is given to them, and they will use these resources to assist them in their success. The students in my class are amazing, sweet and kind. They amaze me on a daily basis with their eagerness to learn and grow. They are hardworking, motivated, and eager to learn.

My Project

The materials that I am requesting are all basic school supplies that my 52 students are quickly running out of. I am requesting a pack of scissors because I have many students who do not have scissors and we cut things out daily. I am requesting a bulk pack of markers to replace the ones that are drying out. We use these markers within our whole group math lessons and on our independent assignments. I am also requesting rulers for measuring and for drawing straight lines when working on Geometry. Finally, I am requesting folders and composition books to replace the ones that are getting destroyed and full of notes.

All of the items that I am requesting are needed on a daily basis in our classroom and so these resources will help out a lot with the day to day work that we do.
