This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Being prepared is so necessary for students’ success in the classroom. Each day, time is wasted finding materials for students who do not have the supplies they need. Being able to provide my students with the basic tools they need will help us spend more time engaged in learning! Students won’t feel the stress of scrambling for materials at the start of class, or feel embarrassed that they don’t have the same tools their peers have.

My students want to learn and want to succeed.

There are often circumstances outside of their control that can impact their ability to learn and reach their full potential. This small act of supplying them with class materials is one way to alleviate stress and set them up for success. When students are engaged we see growth in learning and self confidence!
