My Students

I teach second grade at a Title I school in Michigan. My students are always so excited to learn new things. My goal is to provide them with multiple ways to learn and show their learning. This year, my students have a wide range of abilities and instructional needs. I need ways to help best reach them as learners.

My students are a fantastic group of kids who enjoy learning.

I am on a mission to pass on my love of learning to my students. My classroom is a haven for them. I want to provide many fun and engaging learning opportunities for them, along with a comforting environment.

My Project

With teaching second graders, pencil grips will be very helpful for students to learn how to grip a pencil thus improving their handwriting. The various envelopes will be used to help organize various centers for the students to complete.

These supplies will be invaluable to our classroom.

In the classroom, I try to color code materials to make it easier for students to locate their materials. The astrobright paper will allow me to color code materials that student need to keep in their binders.

Every year I struggle to find a way to keep important documents organized for students. The Avery dividers have enough tabs labeled 1-31 in order for me to create a safe space to put their papers. The contact paper will be used to create a space to display students work.
