My students come from different backgrounds and have a range of disabilities. We never let any difference get in the way of our learning though. We love learning and working through tough subjects in order to learn more and become better students.
My students have disabilities, but they know that does not define who they are.
They love to play, learn, smile, watch movies, and much more just like their peers.
My students love to work together and encourage each other to learn. They understand each other's differences and have looked past it in order to bring a sense of community to our classroom.
My Project
At the end of the school year we run very low on supplies but use everything we have to the fullest. These supplies will help my students to start their new school year off with all the items they need to help them be successful.
These supplies will last the entire year of school and give the students the necessary tools for learning all year long.
There are also some specific learning tools to be used for science units that will help the students learn about plants and get to grow their own plant. The white board markers, glue sticks, pencils, play dough and pocket chart will be used in reading, writing, and math centers. The tissues will help keep germs at bay during the months of many sneezes, and the construction paper will help us to create amazing works of art during our math, science, and reading units.
