My students work hard to comprehensibily learn spanish. They read in spanish every day from the beginning of Spanish 1, increasing their skill day by day becoming more fluent in reading, writing, listening and speaking with comprehension based approach. Students will complete games and activities that require posters to be hung around the room, hence the need for lamination of these posters to reduce the paper waste of printing every year. Students use colored pencils often to create projects and color code their understanding of vocabulary and other grammar forms while reading. The students stay organized for spanish by keeping a manila folder of their vocabulary list and other notes that stays in the classroom all the time. This really helps students who are forgetful and who easily misplace their work.
Becoming fluent in spanish is easier when students have the supplies they need to be successful.
Unfortunately a lot of my students do not bring a pencil to school, nor do they have a charger for their chromebook.
