This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The pencils, markers, glue, headphones, and sports equipment are all needed to help students not only apply their knowledge in creative and unique ways, but also to grow socially and emotionally! Oftentimes, school budgets do not adequately provide the basic supplies that teachers need to fully implement lessons that are inspiring and thoughtful. My students love to be self-expressive and these supplies will help offer opportunities for them to achieve this. It is my goal, as their teacher, to help them access opportunities in which they can develop their creativity, provide enrichment opportunities, and more importantly, help them to develop socially and emotionally.
