Each year, I am blessed with an amazing group of children, whom I learn from daily. They come in each morning with so much to share with the class and me. They are full of life and want to share that with everyone around them. At the beginning of the school year, my students enter second grade as shy first graders. However, when they leave for third grade they are strong, confident, and determined. Being part of this process is what makes teaching so beautiful.
My Project
I am requesting supplies that student will need for the beginning of the school year and throughout as well. I am asking for eight book baggies to replace some of the old ones that have broken. Pencils and erasers are something that are needed throughout the school year. Children go through both very quickly! I am hoping that by having individual erasers, pencils will last longer, rather than being thrown away because they don't have an eraser. The green wipes are for the student to use to clean off their desks. Their desks become dirty very quickly and to avoid colds I like to have wipes on hand.
