Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will continue to allow all the children in my class to grow and learn each day. Having materials readily available allows for more time to be spent on learning rather than trying to find supplies at the last moment. Working in an urban district, teachers are left to make their purchases for supplies from staples to paper and pencils. The out-of-pocket expense adds up and at times, teachers have to decide which is more important. With your help, I can ensure that there are plenty of supplies for my students within our classroom.

I want to continue to give my students the supplies they need to be successful in my class.

Having pencils available in the classroom for my students has helped build a strong rapport with them. Many of my students are interested in a wide variety of books that aren't available in our school's library. Thus, having these books in our classroom library is truly important.
