My Students
My students are everything: scientists, mathematicians, artists, and writers. I teach in Watts, California and my plan is to make sure my students can have the same experiences as students in upper-class areas. The scholars in my classroom are very knowledgeable, passionate, and creative learners. They enjoy learning new things and enjoy teaching me new things. As a teacher, I want to create as many positive educational opportunities for my students that will help them now, and in their futures.
My Project
Classroom supplies are essential to any and every classroom. In my classroom, basic supplies like pencils, highlighters, paper, and markers are used every minute of the school day. These basic supplies will help students achieve basic assignments and activities in the classroom. These kinds of classroom supplies are used daily in the classroom. They often go missing or get left alone. Providing my students with these supplies will allow them to have supplies for our classroom, but also supplies to take home as well.
