This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are eager to learn. They come to school daily with positive attitudes despite their environmental conditions. My students live in a community where there is a lot of violence. They come to school to have a safe place to learn how to read and write. Our school is located near a homeless shelter where we get a lot of students that are transient. We strive to make sure that every student that comes into our school has what they need in order to be successful academically.
My Project
My students are in need of paper, glue sticks, pencils to use in our reading class. Basic supplies are in need for my students. They will use the pencils every single day so that they can take notes.
This year my students really struggled bringing in the basics.
Pencils, paper and glue are just some of the basics they need in order to be successful this year. These are the basic necessities to help my students continue learning this school year.
My students will be able to use the resources in each course that I teach. My students are intrigued with learning and I want to make sure that they have everything that they need
