Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My one rule of learning is that students have to try. Everyday we try our hardest no matter how difficult the material can be.
I have students that range from kindergarten to third grade.
My students are in Special Education. We have a nice melting pot of different levels of students. Our school is a large campus that really acts as a family. Students are challenged on a daily basis to become better learners and better people. Our city is full of different cultures and our school reflects that. It is always an adventure in our school and in my classroom.
My Project
These items will help my students be able to move around and have better stimulus in the classroom.
The items while they seem like random items, will help my students be able to be in the general education classroom to the best of their abilities.
My students need to be able to move and standing desks will allow them to move and still pay attention. The headphones will allow my students to be in the general education classroom without having too much noise distract them. All of the other items are things that my students can use to help them in their day to day school lives.
