This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are fortunate to have a kitchen in our life skills classroom where we work with high school students with special needs. We would like to have the necessary supplies and be able to have healthy options for our students to cook. The students will practice cooking and cleaning skills in our classroom which will enable them to become more independent members in their homes and community. These are such valuable skills that will hopefully afford our students healthier, more productive lives. We thank you so much for helping us!
