This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Helping my scholars in their school life, facilitating their learning, and creating a safe environment in my classroom are my primary goals as a teacher. My students come from diverse backgrounds and not every scholar can afford to get school supplies. I want my learners to be focused on their academic performance, not worried if they "ain't got no pencil." One thing that I do is make sure that all of my scholars have a positive attitude towards learning. I usually keep a set of school supplies for those who do not have them so that they will be more concentrated on their work and class participation.

My Project

Composition notebooks are essential in my students' daily routine in Language Arts and Language Development classes.

I want to make sure that all of my students have essential supplies to be successful in my class.

Therefore, providing my students with composition notebooks will set them for a successful start of the new semester.

Moreover, since my students do not have highlighters on a regular basis, I want to make sure that they have access to highlighters in my class. Highlighters will help my students in reading and annotating various texts, which is an essential part of learning in Language Arts and Language Development classes.
