Supplies for Girls Weight Class

Help me give my students the best education they can get with proper equipment that will help them develop lifelong fitness skills they can use now and as they grow into adulthood.

My Students

We are a Title I school, my students face many challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite their many challenges, my students strive to succeed and are in need of some weight room equipment.

My students love my fitness class and want to develop healthy habits and skills now so they can continue to be healthy for life.

We are in need of some 5-8 lb weights for our girls fitness and our and weight room equipment. These will be used daily and will help them learn healthy lifetime skills. Thank you in advance for your generous donation!

My Project

I teach a high school girls fitness class at my school. I created this class so I could teach different aspects of fitness that can be used now and later in life. PE offers skills and activities that are great, but there are some students who don't want to have a ball thrown at them, or don't have friends who want to play soccer with them. They just want to know how to do a good workout that will help them develop their muscles and be strong. I want to teach these girls that when they are strong physically, it helps them feel strong in other areas of their lives.

I need supplies to help teach these girls the ways to be strong with light weights and simple equipment.

I am asking for a variety of dumbbells and Resistance Loop Exercise Bands. Please help us get the supplies we need to make our class successful and fun. This equipment will be used daily and benefit many students who are not ready for the heavy weight lifting.
