My Project

Our band, the Marching Cardinals, has been invited to represent the state of South Dakota in the 2024 National Independence Day Parade in Washington, D.C., a prestigious event that brings together talented musicians from across the nation to celebrate our country's rich heritage. While in D.C. we will not only be performing in front of crowds numbering in the hundreds of thousands, but will also have the opportunity to tour and experience the celebration of our nation’s freedom in the nation’s Capitol itself.

We are looking for supplies to assist us in our travels to and performance in D.C.

We will be purchasing instrument accessories such as Vic Firth marching sticks, Protec Padded harnesses, and Yamaha MBMH2 Marching Bass Drum Mallet Holder to assist in our marching experience. We will also be using the Black Color Guard Flag and fabric paint to create custom flags to march with. Finally, I have included snacks such as Chex Mix Traditional Savory Snack Mix to have during long rehearsals as we prepare our music, and snacks for the long trip from Clear Lake, SD to Washington D.C.
