This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I'm teaching 7th and 8th grade math. By the end of the year, I want all of my students to be achieving at or above grade level and to have grown to be more confident, self-motivated learners.

I work in a small school in a large urban district, and as a result, we're often lacking resources.

My students work hard every day and deserve to have the resources they need to learn best. I'm requesting supplies for my classroom such as paper towels, earbuds, a pencil sharpener, watercolor markers, dry-erase markers, and Lysol wipes both for general classroom and individual student use. Having these supplies will help us start the school year strong and ready to learn.
