My students have had many hardships in their life growing up in an urban area with high levels of poverty. Every day they come to school fighting against the life they were given, striving to make a successful future for themselves.
In order to support my students in the way they deserve, I need your help!
Demographics, socio-economic status, and lack of resources should not be accepted as a reason for my students to do poorly in school. These bright, young individuals can do amazing things with the support of teachers and donors.
My Project
These materials will help my students stay organized in the classroom. I will hang the posters around my room to create a fun, welcoming classroom for my students. When they are feeling down, it will be helpful for them to look around the room and know they can do anything they set their mind to.
The supplies that I am asking for will make a difference in the mindset of my students.
The Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will allow me to provide my students with engaging activities inside the classroom and out. Currently, our district is completing a hybrid model which consists of teaching students in the classroom while teaching students online simultaneously.
