My Project

My kindergarten students are unique because they are immersed in an environment where we teach them academics and embrace the diverse student body. We are an Early Childhood Education Center which means we are the foundation of a student's educational journey.

A strong foundation is crucial for student success, and I pride myself in providing every students I teach that strong start.

Teaching kindergarten requires having an organized, and welcoming classroom for my students. I am requesting clip boards for my students so they do flexible seating to complete work in my classroom. Additionally, I send home a daily folder for homework, school communication notices, and other important information. The folders requested in this project will last the entire school year, and I can reuse them for at least 2 years.

I am also requesting snacks for my students. Many students do not bring snacks from home, therefore I like to keep snacks in my classroom for students who need something to eat during our long school day. I do not want my students to feel out of place or sad, because they do not have snacks during snack time. In school we need to address the whole child, and the items requested will support my vision for my students and classroom. Thank you for your support.
