My Students
This year I have decided to return to my special education roots in a new district and my class will be a mix of kindergarten through fifth grade. I teach small intervention groups as the resource teacher. I met my new students at the end of last year and they are wonderful and eager to learn.
I can't wait to get to know them better and start making an educational difference and watch them bloom.
From the excitement to learn paired with kind encouragement of friendship, this year is going to be awesome-sauce!
My Project
Students use many different types of materials daily, many are consumables like markers, pencils and erasers. Replacing these can feel costly but necessary. Using dry erase markers on white boards helps save paper and students always feel more engaged.
Disinfectant wipes is the little known educational support in each classroom!
Especially this year, with such a powerful flu going around, wiping down the classroom often is essential to help keep kids from getting sick and being in school.
Daily use items help students learn and stay engaged. When we can provide them with these important materials, we engage learning and then students are unstoppable!
