Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work with a lively group of students with learning difficulties. They struggle to complete academic tasks without lots of repetition and practice. They love to cut, paste, and glue their work. We use our supplies daily and are running low to finish the year and be prepared for the next.

My students are filled with a love of life and learning.

They are very active and need lots of encouragement and repetition to acquire new skills. They don't let their disabilities hold them back from accomplishing new skills and meeting new goals. They come from low income families who often struggle to provide the basic classroom needs for their children.

My Project

My students need some classroom supplies to help us finish out the school year and begin the next. We create notebooks to help us learn our math skills, alphabet, and sight words. We color, cut, and glue these activities into our notebooks to show our learning. We will use these supplies to help complete our notebooks along with our daily classroom activities. My students will use the dry erase pouches to practice writing numbers, letters, sight words, and addition problems. The ability to repeat and practice over amd over again helps them to master the skills, plus they love to write with their dry erase markers!!!
