My Students

I teach at a Title I school and most of the students receive free or reduced-price lunch. Most of my students are English Language Learners. For many of my students, this is their first experience in a classroom setting.

I have the hardest working and enthusiastic students!

They are so amazing! They are great listeners and pay attention. They are respectful and raise their hands when they would like to speak. They listen to one another and help each other. They are so caring and I am so lucky to be their teacher.

My Project

I tell my students that they are super writers all the time and their faces light up whenever they turn in a piece of writing, whether it is a story about going to the park or what their favorite food is. An organizational cart with notebooks and containers for writing tools would really help my students have easy access to get their wonderful ideas on paper.

I would like to create a special writing center in our classroom so my students can go to a specific area that is focused on writing.

I would like them to have access to different writing activities, all in one area and an organizational cart would greatly help. Whether it is to write a sticker story or a letter to a friend, this special writing area is the place for them to be Super Writers!
