My Project

Ever since I started using the Pentel Twist Erase mechanical pencils in my classroom the time of continual sharpening and breaking lead has gone away!

With few exceptions, one pencil last each student the entire school year.

I even have students come back two to three years later and tell me that they are still using their third grade pencil!

I have included other supplies that my students use throughout the year too. Bright cardstock for portfolios, body shapes for the biography report Big Eyed Puppets, incentive rewards to inspire students to focus on correct behavior and working hard, and flower pots with seeds for our lifecycles unit in science.

I have amazing kids that respond well to encouragement and recognition! They know that I expect them to work hard and that I will do my best to help them enjoy learning. Thank you for helping me by supporting this grant!
