My students need these AIR-TIGHT STORAGE CONTAINERS to keep our myriad of dry goods safe! Staple items like flour, sugar, rice, and so much more are cheaper when bought in bulk but we need storage!!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are excited, motivated, talented individuals who know technology is the way of the future. We focus on bringing real-life situations into the classroom to help them prepare for life on their own when they go to college. Many students care for their families by working or taking care of younger siblings, and my classes give them skills they need to be successful at home with their families as well as when they live life on their own.
My students come from all walks of life and are eager to learn Life Skills that will help them in the real world.
Our school in nestled in the northwest corner of Louisiana and we pride ourselves on our family and community focus. As a first year teacher, I could not have asked for a more wonderful group of students to work with!
My Project
Our budget is very limited in our classroom. Having storage for staple items like flour and sugar is essential in our class and keeps out any bugs that may be hungry!
With over 400 students, I average less than $1 per student to cover 6 different cooking-based class sections over the course of the year.
Please consider helping us achieve our goal of getting new Airtight Bulk Storage Bins to keep our foods dry & safe! Our current bins are small and are unable to hold large amounts that would come if we were to buy in bulk. By using the Lock & Lock Airtight Storage Bins Food Storage Containers with Flip-top Lids, not only will we be able to shop smarter, but my students will have easier access to the foods!
