My Project

Students today, are pushed so hard in school that we often don’t have time to even incorporate social and emotional learning. However, I find these skills so extremely important in growing every child, not just academically, but also as a human. Teaching 5/6 year olds comes with a lot of new feelings they have maybe never experienced in a setting outside of home. It is so important to me for them to be able to identify their emotions, and learn strategies to cope with them. Inclusion is one of my top priorities in my classroom. Every child deserves the tools they need to be successful!
