My Project

This year I have been given the opportunity to teach an Arts and Crafts Class. So far, we have learned several different mediums such as crochet, loom weaving, and paper art, just to mention a few. We have also helped to decorate for several of our School's holiday events.

One area that is very important for me to share with my students is the art of sewing.

This skill is one that has been almost forgotten by our school systems, as well as our society as a whole. I would like to expose my students to the basics of sewing, but we need access to a sewing machine for that to happen. We appreciate any help that will assist us with this goal.
