Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My goal for next school year is to incorporate even more hands on and play based learning in my center activities. To help students fulfill their sensory needs, each one of these activities involves tactile elements that will keep even the busiest of learners engaged!
The objective of this project is to enhance hands-on and play-based learning through tactile engagement in center activities for the upcoming school year!
With even younger learners in my TK/K combination class next year, the need for more hands on and sensory activities is imperative. The polyethylene pellets will be used on our light panel and sensory table and will allow for students to find objects like the giant bugs. The Air Toobz will allow for whole body physical play, and the counting boxes will foster early numeracy and fine motor skills.
