I teach 2nd grade students with a variety of interests, abilities and goals. My students are enthusiastic children who come to school each day eager to learn. They love hands-on learning that allows them to be actively engaged in the content that is being taught.
Students in my classroom are creative, have a thirst for knowledge and enjoy learning in a variety of ways.
We use many different learning strategies to help each child reach his or her full potential every day.
My Project
The open display bookshelf will allow students to easily select a variety of books from our specific unit of study that will interest them as well as help to keep our classroom environment neat and organized.
The math tools will allow students to gain a better understanding of second grade math concepts by allowing them to have hand on experiences.
These tools will give students a concrete example and understanding of essential skills needed to be successful in second grade. They will also help students to be actively engaged in their own learning to create positive and memorable learning experiences.
