Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Let me tell you all about my little classroom of bright young scholars.
Each morning I am blessed to be joined by twenty three beautiful smiling faces. My little sea otters have already accomplished so much in their first semester of school from learning their letters and sounds, counting to 100, and are also in the early reading and writing stages but are becoming much more independent with each new day. As we move into our second part of the year they are rising to even more challenges and I'd like to make it as exciting as I can for them to learn and grow.
My Project
Our super scholars deserve to have a fun and exciting school setting and I can do that by motivating them with cute, colorful stickers, bright neon highlighters, and little trinkets that they can cherish to celebrate those extra special days.
I hope to encourage them to love writing by providing them with new dry erase markers that that they can use to practice sounding out words on their white boards and then writing in their personal journals where they can collect all their creative stories.
We could then use the ink to publish and print their most favorite stories to share with others.
