My Project

Beginner readers lays out the foundation to engage young readers. This year, I noticed that a lot of my students are struggling to read at kindergarten level. With these beginner readers, my students can take home more books to practice reading with an adult at home and will have a variety of different reader books to use in the classroom.

My goal is for my students to reach reading levels D/E but they are struggling on level A.

Books are not widely available at homes so if we have more books in the classroom, it gives my students more opportunities to borrow more books to read at home and they will have a more variety of books to teach them how to self engage themselves into the world of reading stories.
