Super Awesome Legos for Middle School STEM

Help me give my students the Legos needed to expand their algorithmic design, abstraction, pattern recognition, and decomposition while learning important STEM skills for the future.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our Middle School Hornets are practicing their 21st-century skills every day as STEM is being incorporated into the classroom more than ever. They are participants in the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship program and we have a school-wide focus on Engineering. Thanks to donors like you, we have added Makey Makeys, Ozobot Bits, Chibi Chips and stickers, and multiple Raspberry Pi kits to our STEM materials. I am now calling on your kindness to provide Legos kits to use in the classroom and in a makerspace.

My goal as an educator is to encourage our students to be creative and take risks through STEM experiences, sparking interest and learning new skills they never thought they had, all while preparing them to chase future goals, education, and career.

All while teaching important skills such as decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithmic design, through collaboration, critical thinking, problem-solving, and just as important, creativity.

My Project

Donors, thank you for taking the time to review the "Super Awesome Legos for Middle School STEM" project request. Without your generosity, we would not have gained materials such as Makey Makeys, Ozobot Bits, Raspberry Pi kits, as well as Chibi Chips and Stickers.

The "Super Awesome Legos for Middle School STEM" project will provide the students with great resources for STEM and Engineering activities/projects in the classroom and in a makerspace.

Let's all agree that Legos are awesome and spark the interest and creativity of teachers and students alike.

Thank you again for supporting our future by providing amazing materials for our students. It is deeply appreciated and would not be possible without donors like you.
