This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have been having Kindness Wednesdays in our class since the beginning of the year and learning how to show respect to ourselves, our teachers and our classmates. I have ordered a few "Be Kind" shirts from Sunshine Sisters to wear on these days.

Sunshine Sisters have amazing tie dye shirts with encouraging messages and my students have been asking where I get my shirts from and how they can get one for themselves; I would love to be able to provide them with matching T-shirts for us to wear as a class on one of our Kindness Wednesdays.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
