My Project

I started the Sunshine Coffee Cart at the school I work at, Sunrise Elementary. It has been an incredible opportunity for students of all abilities to work on functional life skills.

While working on the coffee cart, students have learned invaluable social, communication, math, fine motor and executive functioning skills that will help them succeed in school and in the community.

With functional life skills training such as working on a school, student-run coffee cart, students are able to show us more of what they know in a way that is more functional... and FUN!

We are low on a few items and need these to keep our cart going (and keep our teachers caffeinated)!
